Getting good photos isn’t just a matter of luck. It’s about planning, timing, technique and taking a creative approach. So I am planning not to fill the guidebook with hundreds of boring classic sea kayak photos but with a healthy selection of shots which portray the paddling, the environment and the experiences you may have whilst exploring the Northwest Highlands. There will of course be a few classic shots as well but, hopefully with a creative twist.
Today’s job has been to create a photo library for the guidebook on my computer which involved a few hours of sifting through hundreds of exisiting photos.
