Yesterday was spent with Karen and Andy exploring the depths of Gairloch in Wester Ross. We came across this ‘fine’ looking paddler’s cafe in the sheltered waters of Badachro. Mmm…
I’m off to Orkney on holiday for a week so no blog posts for a while. However work on the book doesn’t stop - I will be ‘road testing’ a few trips written by Chris Jex in the Northern Isles sea kayaking guidebook published by Pesda Press. It’s an ideal opportunity to truly experience what it is like to use and rely on a guidebook, as I’ve never paddled in Orkney before.
