Since 1970 there hasn’t been a ferry crossing Loch Carron from the settlement of Stromeferry in Wester Ross. Perhaps it’s time to change the name? Or perhaps the name should stay and reflect the heritage of the village?
There is also a railway station in Stromeferry and it’s a ideal put in to explore Loch Carron and out towards Plockton and Kishorn.
