I got an opportunity to visit the Stornoway Rescue Helicopter ‘Rescue Mike Uniform’ over the weekend and get some good shots of it, close up and found out more about it’s work and capabilities. There will be a short appendix on ‘Coastguard & Rescue’ in the guidebook including the location of all the Coastguard VHF aerials and other such useful background info.
