Catriona and I have returned from a successful raiding mission to Muck and Eigg along with checking out a huge swath of Skye for put in’s and paddler friendly services/facilities. Hundreds of miles driven, 4 ferries and 5 nights in a tent.
That was my last whole week away exploring parts of the Northwest Highlands this year for the guidebook, as my new job is going to be taking up a large chunk of my time. However I’m going into ‘weekend warrior’ mode in order to continue to re-visit and check out all corners of the guidebook’s area.
