Sneaky look

Sea Kayak Navigation - Mk2

Franco has revised the excellent ‘Sea Kayak Navigation’ book to include colour photos along with updating parts of the book e.g. Use of GPS.

Poor Visability

Peter Wood and Don Williams have added their touches to the book in terms of graphics and maps.

The result is that I think the book will appear in many sea kayaker’s Christmas stockings this year!

I’m outraged! This is industrial espionage. A major enquiry has been started at Pesda Press in order to plug the leak (or should that be leek?).

The book is unchanged in one way. That is that it tries to keep the subject as simple as possible and concentrates on what kayakers need to know.

The new edition is most obviously different in the improved illustrations and use of colour. I have also made numerous small improvements in the way things are explained. Some new topics are introduced as I have had to revise my ideas on what kayakers need to know. Exercises designed to check the reader’s understanding have also been added to the end of each chapter.

Ocean Paddler will be publishing an extract in the next edition of the magazine.
