There’s no mistaking that noise of rain tipping down onto your tent flysheet when your half asleep and tucked safely in your warm sleeping bag. Thoughts of being get wet, packing away wet kit suddenly flood your mind as does a great relcutance to emerge from your sleeping bag. Yor body and mind so no or maybe in a wee while.
However the time will come you have to face it and emerge out of warm and cosy sleeping bag and peel on damp clothing and kit from yesterday knowing you may well be damp and wet for the next 6 - 8 hours.
