As well as interactions with the wildlife when you’re afloat, very often whilst driving to the put in and take outs will result interactions with other wildlife in the Highlands.
At this time of year when returning home inevitably in the dark, look out for owls, foxes and deer as they are often to be found near or crossing roads. Otters as well, sometimes if you’re lucky!
