Hi Cailean it looks very like the north coast of Canna. As you look along the line of cliffs, it looks like you are looking NW to the hills of South Uist in the distance. That would place the photo at the east end of the north coast.

    Lovely spot!

Hello Cailean, at first I thought it was just last year but it was actually 2 and a half years ago!!! Time flies, there is just so much to see. Nice stack nearby as well. Thanks for bringing back memories!

Hello all, I’ve been following your adventures for a couple of years now, I believe. My wife Angela and I are looking at a sea kayak vacation/holiday in Scotland next year.
We’d like some information regarding rental boats, marine trail, keep up the fantastic web site/blog.
Hope to hear back from you folks.

    Horst,

Rental - I will blog about it. Marine trail - see my friend Simon Willis’s website www.scottishseakayaktrail.com and the link on the Pesda Press website for his guidebook to the new trail out in early June.

    Thanks for your encouragement!

    Cheers

    Cailean

I'm currently writing a sea kayaking guidebook for the Northwest Highlands; Cape Wrath to Ardnamurchan Point including Skye & the Small Isles. This blog will keep you updated as to my progress and hopefully the blog and in turn the book will inspire you experience the Northwest Highlands by sea kayak yourself.
